It is believed his injury will keep the 18-year-old out until next season, through Hudson-Odoi hopes to be fit before the start of the 2019/20 campaign in August. The injury deals a real blow to Chelsea as they look to finish in the Premier League top four and also win the Europa League, with manager Maurizio Sarri hoping to book the Blues a place in next season’s Champions League.Hudson-Odoi has enjoyed a relatively successful breakthrough season, and he recently became one of Sarri’s first-choice wingers after spending the first half of the campaign as a backup option. There is a silver lining for Chelsea, however.According to The Telegraph, Bayern Munich are expected to end their transfer interest in Hudson-Odoi now that he will be on the treatment table for the entire summer.Bayern tried to sign the England international during January when Hudson-Odoi handed in a transfer request to force a move to Germany, but Chelsea made it clear they would not sell him, even this summer when he enters the final year of his contract.
