Some Arsenal fans have been accused of fickle behaviour during their 4-1 victory over Fulham on New Years Day.The Gunners faithful were treated to a comfortable win and moments of impressive football at the Emirates, however a noticeable section of the home crowd were reported to have booed when Unai Emery made one particular substitution.Certain fans weren’t impressed when Lacazette was taken off2

After 75 minutes, with the match poised at 2-1, Alexandre Lacazette made way and was replaced by the soon-to-be-departed Aaron Ramsey, much to the annoyance of some supporters. While its understood the irritation was mainly aimed at the Emerys decision to withdraw Lacazette rather than the choice to bring on Ramsey in his place the doubters were soon proved wrong regardless.Just four minutes later, the Welshman bagged the crucial third goal which gave his side breathing space in the fixture, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went on to add a fourth later on.Unai Emery had the last laugh2

Lacazette reacted angrily to a previous substitution at Brighton on Boxing Day (a match Arsenal failed to win), while Ramsey is set to leave the club at the end of the season following their decision to withdraw an offer of a contract renewal. After his goal, home fans then proceeded to sing sign him up in reference to the 28-year-old, and the social media reaction can be seen below.
